Joe Masson, Rushill, Indiana?

Hello, 

I have found an autograph authenticated by a Joe Masson from Rushill, Indiana. Would anyone know how reputable such a person is? Have you encountered them before?

Personally, I've never heard of him.  If Google isn't bringing up anything helpful, it's a fair assumption that he isn't a significant player in this hobby.

Thanks for your reply Rich. That is what I was thinking too. It is an autograph going for auction in Ireland. I contacted the auction house about provenance and they replied that it is certified by this Joe Masson. It is a Muhammad Ali signature, reputedly. It is a very reputable auction house, but I could find no mention whatsoever of a Joe Masson on the web.
