Hello, I was Mr. Hooker's personal assistant for 8 years. I answered all of his fan mail as well. YES, you have an authentic signature! Here's a photo of me at an autograph signing at Tower Records.

I am glad you have joined Autograph Magazine Live. You can be a great help with the authentication and information on John Lee Hooker's signature and signing habits. What years did you wok for Mr. Hooker and can you please post some authentic autographs exemplars.

Thanks Michael. I met JLH in 1986 and was his banker. I believe I started on "payroll" in 1991 after I left my banking career. Then stopped working for him in 1999 to pursue my antique dealer career! Hope that helps!

AND, I ran a JLH fan club as well during those years. I actually found one of my reply letters circulating on the internet. Kind of funny.
