JSA Authenticated Dimaggio Ball-Thoughts?

This is one strange signature. I am not saying its a forgery, but it seems too atypical for anyone to make a jugement on authenticity. Has anyone seen this style before?

Interesting. The oe is really far away from the J and the "a" looks like an "o".

I never did get to meet Joe D. But I have heard stories that he purposely would screw up an autograph, if he was in a bad mood. Could or could not be true. Just what I`ve heard.
