I don't know if there is a resident Griffey expert on the site, but this just looks like a silver blob that I wouldn't want in my collection to begin with. There are much nicer examples out there than this.

i'm definitely no expert, but i do have over 20 Griffey autographs in my collection (mostly on balls).  I agree with Ryan - it's too much of a silver blob to even try to examine it for authenticity.  That being said, i've never seen a UDA Griffey bat or one authenticated by PSA that looks like this.  i'd avoid.

Thanks David. This bat I inherited recently with a bunch of other Griffey cards from the late 80s early 90s. I'm not a big Griffey fan so really would like to trade or sell it all for players I'm more interested in. I don't want to offer something that's fake tho. What would you recommend before I offer it up?
