Hello,

Any thoughts on this Lebron autograph on a sports illustrated?  Thank you!

I'm not even going to look at the signature.

Lebron is one where nobody who really has one is going to put it up for sale without some sort of authentication on it.

Well, they might, but if a Lebron with no LOA is up for sale, it's faaaaaaaaaaaaar more likely that they couldn't find an outfit to issue an LOA for it than it is that they didn't bother trying.

So if it's up for sale & doesn't have an LOA, I'm going to say bad based on that alone. No seller who knows what they're doing would even try to do that & any seller who doesn't isn't anyone you're going to want to deal with.

If it's up for sale with an LOA, the question becomes "Who issued it?"

If it's a fly-by-night organization who only seems to exist on the LOA, bad.

If it's a fully verifiable UDA or other trusted source (and I mean "fully verifiable"), then it's good.

If it's a TPA with a not horrible reputation, then it's essentially a toss-up.

Personally, I wouldn't touch any Lebron that can't be traced back to UDA, or, at the very least, a top-of-the-line, extremely trusted dealer.

Thank you for your reply sir.  And, happy holidays!
