Lou Gehrig on the sweetspot

Purchased a $40 raffle ticket and beat big odds and won this Lou Gehrig ball. It actually has other 1938 Yankee signatures. I care mostly about the Gehrig. JSA Letter of authenticity. 

how can I keep this signature from fading further, will it? And if it does or inevitable, should I just off load it now

if you store it properly and keep it out of direct sunlight, I doubt it will fade any more that it already has after 82 years.
