You're right. It is good. Beautiful sig. Love his smaller, neater autograph. 

Bought several  recently. Here are a few. The top one I got for $300 and the bottom one for $350. If you can get the one you're going after, for $300, you're doing ok. I was looking on eBay and their selling Mantle autograph balls for $600+, which is absolutely ludicrous. Too high.

This is fine IMO. A little overpriced with the toning and the little spot on top - I'd expect it to sell closer to $300, but Mantle's market is hot right now.

Anyway, just found this beautiful Mantle forgery on marketplace. The guy said, "Mickey signed it right in front of me." Wow. He hates to part with it. Needs the money. That's a shame. He only wants $1600 for it. Talk about insult to injury. Not only is it hideous, he wants that much money for it. Lol.
