Hey fellow AMLers, I just traded for four baseballs and was wondering whether two of them (the two most desirable) are genuine. Well, at least in your opinion.

Here are the photos:

The Mantle ball was used during batting practice/casual hitting during an alumni/old timers game and shows good wear for its age. The Williams ball is in amazing condition in my opinion and is definitely of the period (1990s) but you cant really see the wear in the photo. I got a GREAT deal on the two (well from my opinion) through trade so I'm just wondering what you guys think of them. Thanks!

just for another reference point here is my Williams ball. not sure why its sideways!

Mike,
I am sorry but there is no way Mickey Mantle could not have used this baseball during his playing days. This baseball was produced between 1984-1986. The baseball may have been used in a old timer day but unlikely that Mickey Mantle would have been involved. I would need to do some additional research but I believe the last time Mickey Mantle swing a bat at an Old timers game was in 1984 and that was just fooling around with Whitey Ford.

Yep I know that, I mentioned in my OP that this was apparently used in an alumni/old timers game. The ball was used in the game (no idea which one, wish I did.)

I still think it may be good. IMO

I was never good with Williams...that one can go either...it looks good but at the same time I am not really sure...I do like the Mantle though for sure.

here is my Williams 16x20....PSA certified if this helps you...

here is also my ball that I had quick opinion passing a while back...I felt it was good before purchasing...but it is a good system to check something in question...there pretty good...
