Maris that I missed out on...

So back in April I participated in an auction where I missed out on this Lot.  I've been regretting it, but at least wanted to share them, as I think they are pretty cool (if legit)!   The owner was supposedly an old "girlfriend" of his! Maybe high school?   Cool part is that the "love letter' is signed Roger E Maras (his real name).   There is also one photo that is just signed "Love, Roger".  

I wasn't sure if the items were legit (i had never really studied his writing)...though the pictures kinda make me believe they are. I don't have enough experience with Maris's sig to know if the handwriting is similar to his - this was done way before he starting signing as a Yankee...

I wonder what the value of something like this would be....

Yeah, that's why I still think about it. And to think that the main reason I didn't get it was because my computer froze up at the wrong time! I was the "under bidder". Not sure what the other person would have bid up to, though, perhaps more than I could afford. But if it's real, the person got a bargain of a lifetime.

Its hard to Authenticate high school s*** but thats Totally OG stuff I would bet on 120% authentic
