Authenticity is Everything

Matthew Broderick, Secretarial?

I've seen this signature type in various Ebay listings, different seller locations - but very similar. I noticed the same thing when looking at Anthony Hopkins items. Generally the listing says something like "Signed very nicely in black sharpie" etc. Is this a secretarial? An attempt at a forgery? The second one looks more genuine to me, from a "signforme" seller from Germany, who has items that look legit, but are not authenticated. His signature is very poor, so I would think it is hard to be sure of any item from him regardless?
