Michael Jackson auto fake or real?

Hello everyone. I was hoping someone on here could shed some light on this michael jackson potential autograph. I received 2 of these promo pictures probably 30 years ago when i was around 7 years old. Was a huge mj fan back then. Its a long story but i actually received them from michaels mother. I had it pinned up on my wall as a kid and been buried in a box for probably 20 years now. I actually thought i had thrown it out many years ago. I always assumed it was just a facsimile auto and wish i had the second one still so i could compare, but i gave that one to a friend way back when. Now that im older and getting back into the autograph scene i found this is my storage and it actually looks like a real signature seeing as it has faded quite a bit over the years. To me the signature doesnt look like it was signed by michael though, but seeing as it came from his parents i just have to find out. If anyone has any insight it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Thanks for the replies everyone. That makes sense. I received it in 1987 or 88 when michaels parents came to town. His parents and manager actually came to my parents house for dinner to discuss a business deal that joe wanted my dad to take public. Little part of me always thought it could be real and i thought i had lost it for the past 20 years. Just found it 2 days ago so thought i would check it out. Thanks again for your help!

It’s still a very nice photograph to have and cherish. The signature is Michael’s, technically speaking, just written by a machine. Keep in the collection and enjoy.

Im holding out hope for now. Until i see an exact copy of it. Ive been searching around the internet and seen some very similar ones but all a little different than this one. Surely if its autopen there would be an exact copy out there right?

Not sure i want to hang it with the rest of my sigs though if its not legit. The photo is in terrible shape. Pin holes from me hanging on the wall when i was a kid and creased and discoloured. Not pretty to look at.
