Here is one of my favorite rarities of my Michael Jackson collection- the original historical contract
of Michael Jackson´s legendary Short Film THRILLER:

A small piece of musical history has gone on sale today. The contract for Michael Jackson´s Thriller.
It was signed by Jackson on 10 October, 1983, in Los Angeles, ahead of production of the music video that went on to break records.
The two pieces of typed paper outline the security agreement between Jackson’s production company and the Screen Actors Guild.
Jackson is named as “Michael Jackson, President” and his signature, in red ink, spans half the page.
Below it sits the signature of the Assistant National Executive Secretary of the SAG, which was added almost two months later.
The subsequent 13-minute short film went on to win two Grammys and changed the landscape for music videos.
It was directed by John Landis, featured a voiceover by horror film veteran Vincent Price, and included scenes in which Jackson transformed into a werewolf and a zombie.
So significant was Thriller that in 2009 the Library of Congress selected it to be included in the National Film Registry and it remains the first and only music video to be inducted.
