Hey guys, new here. I was thinking of buying this on ebay, its cheap and the seller has sold 10 items so im skeptical on it. He lives in Illinoi though so.....Its a Michael Jordan authentic #45 jersey. Autographed. Here are some pictures of it. He said he got it signed in March 1995 after he announced his comeback to the NBA.....The only thing keeping me from buying it is there is no COA, thats why im asking around. If i buy this and the auto is fake, i bought a 900 dollar jersey that im not sure is even real also LOL

Thanks for being nice to the new guy by the way :P

For that amount of money I'd pay for the PSA/DNA quick opinion for sure.

Nice, i didnt know about that service. I just paid for the quick opinion, waiting to see what they say about the auto.

Does Upper Deck offer authentication service for items with no COA?

Quick opinion came back likely not genuine?

Yeah it came back likely not genuine. Its strange because another guy has an auto thats slightly worse than this one and he got a quick opinion on it and they said it was likely genuine so i dont know lol

Well, worse in what way? Luckily you didn't buy this jersey, at least! Upper Deck doesn't do authentication. They have contracts with sports stars like Michael Jordan to witness him signing a bunch of stuff and then they sell it through their website etc.

UD is a good company with a great reputation. It's about as close as you can come to certain authenticity without actually being present at the signing yourself.

I would just like to point out to the OP living in a city dont somehow authenticate an autograph.
