Recently bought this copy of "Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence" by the progressive metal band Dream Theater, signed by their drummer Mike Portnoy. I'm no expert, but the sharpie signature looks legit when I compared my CD to other photos of Mike's signature online. It also looks like an actual sharpie and not a print-on, and doesn't reflect light differently than sharpie signaturs on other albums I have (that were signed in front of me and are definitely legit). In addition, the seller I purchased it from runs a progressive rock festival and was only asking $15 for the CD, so I doubt that it's a forgery. Haven't seen any other signed copies of the album for sale online, so maybe that's worth something as well.
