Mike Torut Auto

I recently got a Mike Trout signed SI magazine which may i add that i got personally. I submitted it to PSA and to my surprise they failed it. Has this ever happened to any one else? I feel like i got jipped when i got the item my self at a game and waited for him to sign the magazine and for PSA to fail it made me mad!

It happens all the time . They are turning autographs , they don't fell comfortable with , down on the regular lately .

 

Did they tell you it was a forgery . Or did they say they can't come to a conclusion ?

The representative didn't say that exactly but she handed me a paper with a list of things they felt in THIER OPINION why they didn't think the autograph was authentic. She stressed that I'm paying for an opinion and once i told her i got in in person at the stadium she said sorry thats it. It really irritated me.

Oh ok . You got a rejection letter.  So they fell its Forgery. If they are inconclusive , they give you a credit to send in another item . It sucks man . Sorry about that.

 

Where trying to sell it  ?

Yea but the funny thing is my friend got a ball signed with me the same day and guess what they passed it. I was going to hold onto it until i got the ESPN cover signed and sell the SI one because the ESPN cover looks way better but so much for that. Then again JSA will be in my area next week so I'm actually thinking of submitting it to them.

Jsa may do the same thing. I hope they pass it . But you should have no problem selling it with no Psa or Jsa authentication anyways.

Yea i hope so but you know sooo many people now a days believe in PSA that it makes selling an item without it harder and cheaper then what its worth. Its better to keep then sell you know.

Exactly. Which is sad, but true. Some dealers take offense when you tell them this as well if.you buy their piece and it does not pass authentication
