Good morning everyone.  I would appreciate help with these Muhammad Ali signed boxing trunks.  The seller's story is that these trunks were worn by Muhammad Ali when he was training for the Spinks 2 fight, which would put the signature around 1978.  I know his signing style changed throughout the years, so I am hoping for opinions on the signature.  I have noticed that the "G" in "greatest" is not consistent with other "G"s I have seen on other examples, plus I'm not sure Ali would have written "Kill Spinx" as an inscription.

Thanks,

Allen

that does not look  like any Ali signature I have ever seen regardless of when it was signed.

This is not a real Ali signed item sorry!

Ali would never put "kill" anything.

I am not sure if he would give a free opinion but this guy may be able to help you

The inscription is nothing like his hand writing someone else wrote it.

Agree with all the other comments, this is not signed by Ali

Thanks, I really appreciate all the replies, which pretty much confirmed my suspicions.  The owner of the trunks was so adamant that they were real...lol.
