We now have a Musician-Direct Autograph Sales Forum where you can post individual discussions of new offerings. It's a big change—and a big improvement. We closed this discussion after 8 years but it will always be available to read.

The new system has been in place for 2 months now and it's working well.

This video shows you how easy the new forum is to use.

You can follow the forum and be notified of new signings exclusively! And you can enter a musician's name in the forum's search box and find any discussions about them.

Be sure to click the Follow link at the bottom of the list of discussions.

Try it...I think you'll like it.

Though I recall a member posting a blog asking about this a while ago, I could not relocate it for my purpose in this discussion.

It can be nice when one stumbles upon a musician's shop (via their website), to see that they are selling their autographs. I figured this could grow as a wee database for listing those musicians who partake in this.

I recently recieved a couple press photos signed in ballpoint from John Mayall's website (http://www.johnmayall.com/merch.html). I am also aware that you can purchase signed CDs from Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits(http://peternoone.com/store/). John 5 ( formerly Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie guitarist) sells various items signed, with an option to dedicate.

So, does anyone else know of this being done by other musicians?

$20 or so. I think the US CDs and lithos will be ready first. I know she's signed at least some of the CDs.

That website is a reseller. Those prices are marked up ridiculously.

I thought that was the case!

Ugh. Just got this update from Lorde's store.

Same here.

Reply I got: Thanks for your response. There are well over 4,000 orders for the Autographed Litho. Please keep in mind that each poster is hand-signed, which also can cause a delay. This heaping amount of orders takes time to process and ship each individual order.

Just got this email from Book Soup.
Order comment:
Greetings! Unfortunately, we were unable to fulfill your order for a signed copy(s) of Brian May's Queen in 3-D. However, we are happy to offer you a copy(s) of the book with a *bookplate* signed by Brian May. If you're interested in this, please let us know no later than Wednesday September 6. Otherwise, we will refund your order. You may call the store at 310-659-3110 with any questions.
I called them and they said it's a card he signed and they don't know if it says anything else except for his signature. He was unable to sign anymore books.
What do you think? Is it worth it?
I'm sure it's a cool book , but is it good enough as far as proving authenticity of the sig belonging to the book?
I personally don't like book plates. I was very disappointed and cancelled my order.
I cancelled both of my Brian May orders. I asked if they could send me a picture of the plate and they said they don't have them available yet.

I've  one for sale book +bookplate nothing wrong with them bought from genuine  bookseller bookplate is not attatached  to book so you could  Matt it with a picture of Brian  or the band ? heavy book so cost p&p is to overseas is a bit more than the usual  (based in uk) could just sell the bookplate ?

That takes more money, was just hoping to have the actual book signed.
