We now have a Musician-Direct Autograph Sales Forum where you can post individual discussions of new offerings. It's a big change—and a big improvement. We closed this discussion after 8 years but it will always be available to read.

The new system has been in place for 2 months now and it's working well.

This video shows you how easy the new forum is to use.

You can follow the forum and be notified of new signings exclusively! And you can enter a musician's name in the forum's search box and find any discussions about them.

Be sure to click the Follow link at the bottom of the list of discussions.

Try it...I think you'll like it.

Though I recall a member posting a blog asking about this a while ago, I could not relocate it for my purpose in this discussion.

It can be nice when one stumbles upon a musician's shop (via their website), to see that they are selling their autographs. I figured this could grow as a wee database for listing those musicians who partake in this.

I recently recieved a couple press photos signed in ballpoint from John Mayall's website (http://www.johnmayall.com/merch.html). I am also aware that you can purchase signed CDs from Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits(http://peternoone.com/store/). John 5 ( formerly Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie guitarist) sells various items signed, with an option to dedicate.

So, does anyone else know of this being done by other musicians?

Which ones did you hear were autopenned and from what seller?

The Florida Georgia Line CDs from JB Hi Fi. They hand signed very few, and the rest were autopenned,

Yeah, there's a thread going on RACC about how even the signed drumheads were autopenned along with all the items at http://www.tweematic.com/rootsmosaic/  and the items from https://shop.bigmachinelabelgroup.com/collections/florida-georgia-line are as well.  Way to screw your fans FGL.

I don't even know who the hell they are.

Me either, but this practice sucks and is totally a fraud.

A number of new ones just added to Newbury today: Ingrid Michaelson, Lisa Hannigan, Delain, etc.

Looks like Barnes & Noble will be having another vinyl day next Saturday. Not much info yet on what to expect, but I'm thinking there'll be signed items as there were last year.

Anyone got list of signed releases at B&N? Is it going to be announced before Saturday? I remember last year we got Brian Wilson or Paul Rodgers signed LPs...

I still haven't seen a full/comprehensive one.

The signed ones I remember from last year (some of which are still on our local B&N shelves) were: Brian Wilson, Sleater-Kinney, Maxwell, Lindsey Stirling, Brandi Carlisle, Silversun Pickups.

Yeah it was a little crazy last year, my local store didn't even know they had autographs in them. Hopefully we'll get a list if they do it again this year.

This seems to be all they're listing at the moment, but here'll certainly be more.

Hopefully they will denote which ones include autographed inserts.
