We now have a Musician-Direct Autograph Sales Forum where you can post individual discussions of new offerings. It's a big change—and a big improvement. We closed this discussion after 8 years but it will always be available to read.

The new system has been in place for 2 months now and it's working well.

This video shows you how easy the new forum is to use.

You can follow the forum and be notified of new signings exclusively! And you can enter a musician's name in the forum's search box and find any discussions about them.

Be sure to click the Follow link at the bottom of the list of discussions.

Try it...I think you'll like it.

Though I recall a member posting a blog asking about this a while ago, I could not relocate it for my purpose in this discussion.

It can be nice when one stumbles upon a musician's shop (via their website), to see that they are selling their autographs. I figured this could grow as a wee database for listing those musicians who partake in this.

I recently recieved a couple press photos signed in ballpoint from John Mayall's website (http://www.johnmayall.com/merch.html). I am also aware that you can purchase signed CDs from Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits(http://peternoone.com/store/). John 5 ( formerly Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie guitarist) sells various items signed, with an option to dedicate.

So, does anyone else know of this being done by other musicians?

$350? Am I seeing that right?

Yep,  Waterstones had it too but is sold out. https://www.waterstones.com/product/born-to-run/bruce-springsteen/9...

yes, plus tax

Seems pretty high for a book, cool offer though.

Seems like it could have been much worse. Plus, overall, it looks to be a high quality product.

I mean aren't they giving them away for free to ticket holders on every stop of his signing tour? Quite a big jump from free to $350. Not saying it isn't worth it, but the people that go in person get a heck of a deal.

Not exactly. This is the deluxe book, which is different than the freebie. Also, I'm hearing that the signing event isn't that easy to get into, which is kinda what I expected.

It'll be interesting to see what they start going for on ebay after people inevitably go just to sell the book.

Too many d******** dealers are crashing the event for sure.

The least expensive book signed by him I've seen sold was $325 and it was obviously an older one with a pretty condensed graph.  That's less than what I pay my guys so it's certainly worth it.  Also this is a rare collectors edition.  How many limited edition autographed Bruce Springsteen items do you know of?  You can't compare it to the lucky ones who got into the signings.  I tried getting in on that only to have the book added to my cart and when clicking the final processing button it kept processing processing processing and then timed out and emptied my cart :(

and are we sure the B&N deluxe book is hand signed and not auto-penned.  For that price I cant imagine it isnt, but hey nothing shocks anymore.

I am sure they have a return policy.  If its auto-penned it will be shipped back.
