Man Micko, you sure werent kidding. The Jimmy Page might be one of the worst i have ever seen. The item ended in the link above, but he relisted it here:

Check this out, it is just insane. The Page is really beyond comical.

Its interesting though. Check out this piece that the seller is also offering. What do you guys think. It has a COA from Merit Adventures which was run by Rick Barrett at one time i believe. And Barrett was known to be one of the best Zeppelin guys out there. It certainly is leagues closer than the Jimmy Page at the start of the thread.

I cant say on the authenticity of this piece, as on some of Page's signatures, i dont feel comfortable giving an opinion, but if this is legit, then this seller might just not realize that the Page, clapton, beck piece is more than likely bad.  If opinions come back from members here that they think this piece is authentic, ill contact the seller and try to direct him here. I guess its even possible that the album that started this thread is authentic, but i would be shocked, that looks like no page signature i have ever seen from any era.

Anyway , here it is:

Hey Carl,
I totally agree with your opinions on the Page/Plant magazine. It does look like it might be good, but the problem with the Page, beck, Clapton is that he has to take more responsibility for the items he's selling, for a huge price than to accompany it simply with a story like this:

HERE IS A FRAMED "YARDBIRDS" LP THAT WAS SIGNED ON THE COVER AT THREE DIFFERENT SHOWS BY ALL THREE LEGEDARY GUITAR PLAYED FROM THE BAND. ERIC CLAPTON, JIMMY PAGE AND JEFF BECK.

ALL OF THESE WERE GOT IN DALLAS TX OVER A 2-3 YR SPAN IN LATE 90'S TO 2001. THERE IS NO CERTIFICATE OR GRADES OR ANY OF THAT STUFF THAT REALLY DON'T MEAN ANYTHING. IT IS A PIECE I HAVE TREASURED ON MY WALL FOR 13 YRS. I HAVE TO SELL IT NOW BECAUSE I NEED THE MONEY AND THATS THE ONLY REASON.

I KNEW THE PERSON THAT WORKED AT THE DIFFERENT ARENAS AROUND TOWN AND HE WOULD GET STUFF AT THE PUBLIC MEET AND GREETS OR RADIO/PRESS MEET AND GREETS. I TRUST THIS PERSON AND HAVE SEEN PICTURES OR PROOF ON MANY OF THIER ITEMS. SO ITS UP TO WHAT YOU WANT TO DO, LOOK UP THE AUTOGRAPHS OR HAVE THEM PROVED WHATEVER YOU WANT, THIS IS A HISTORIC PIECE AND WILL KILL ME TO LET GO OF!!

Now the seller does have some great unsigned music related items for sale, but he is souring his reputation by selling something with such a misleading and vague story. It just puts a question mark over anything signed that he sells. I agree that it is possible that he believes it's real, but I think the story above reads like he's trying to catch buyers out.
