Since Brandon is an active member here with NASCAR I am sure he will chime in on your inquiry.  I do wonder why items being sold don't display the cert.

I wrote to the seller and he says that the helmet was sent to  Mysinger and was looked over by him and sent back with the COA's. Have asked to see the COA so waiting for that. Would love to hear from Mr. Mysinger himself to see if he remembers this piece.

Yes, I Do,  The helmet is legit. This seller is one of the good dealers on ebay for NASCAR items.  He had a long time connection with Dale Sr.

With an item this nice, you won't need a COA anyway, It will just detract from the item.

So, you can count on the items from this seller. He has very good connection to the West coast & Mid-West NASCAR races.
