I must add that I am no expert on Nelson's signature, so other more experienced collectors may correct me, but based on other exemplars this signature is lacking a few things: there is no loop formation in the 'd' and the 'l', the squiggle after the 'N' inclines - rather than remaining on the same level - and it just looks off.

Wait for others to chime in, but I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot barge pole if I were a collector of mandela.

Slowly drawn and shakily done as well, not real for me

I am a Mandela expert, from his release from prison up till about 2002 his signature was neat and flowing, after that it became old and shaky with letters scrunched up etc. what the forger did wrong on this occassion was get the time periods wrong, he used a 'older' signature on a 'younger' 1997 Mandela signature, having said all of this its actually one of the better forgeries that I have seen

I live in South Africa , A sad thing about Mandela signatures (with regards to the USA market) is that authenticators such as PSA are not familiar with signatures of his say post 2005 onwards, due to the fact that it became shaky and alot different due to his age, PSA expect to see a beautiful flowing youthful signature from a man in his late 80's in age. I personally bought around 12 signatures from Mandela's personal bodyguard in 2008, this gave me the upper edge on Mandela's autograph, for example take a look at the attached photos all acquired from his bodyguard, signed between 2005 and 2008, completely real but PSA would not even dare look
