I GOT A SCANNER!!!

I'm very surprised with the results of the scanner. I am happy with it and will use it to capture more accurate images.

This is a scan of a portion of a rubber soul album signed by John Lennon at WFIL. this can be seen in another discussion i posted before on my old account, but not at this quality. It's hard to see even here a bit.

This along with a copy of introducing the beatles were signed one after another at WFIL and were later cut in early the 90s due to water damage. (Only rubber soul is scanned)

I sold the Vee-Jay album cut & the rubber soul cut remained for obvious reasons. It's hard to see & not picking up well even in direct light.

Pity it was signed on the front in red and not the rear of the album.

Yes. Red on brown. I always felt it was reminiscent of this reverse side signed revolver album.

To a degree but still a bit more visible than the Rubber Soul example. But in saying that both albums have been  signed by the man HIMSELF.

Just sad how they came to be cut.

I know a woman who had an antique store on Cape Cod in 1975. John Lennon came in her store in September 1975 with his friend from NY, Richard Ross. She asked him if he was Lennon and he said, "Yes". She said he was very nice...and he told her that he'd be back tomorrow. She brought with her a beautiful copy of the US "Rubber Soul" album. She asked Lennon if he would sign it...he told her, "My pleasure". John signed it on the reverse in black marker. It was a nice legible signature. She sold it and made a very nice profit.

That's very sweet.
