Hi all,

I recently found a few autographs from when I was a kid in the early eighties and naturally am a bit curious. Among them are a complete cast from the early seasons of Dallas (w/ Jim Davis and Barbara BelGeddes,) James Herriott the author and Esther Williams on a menu from a charity event. I'm pretty sure all are in the original pen from the people themselves.

Is this a proper forum for discussing their authenticity and value?

Thanks,

Jay

that Dallas photo is likely stamped.  I have seen it several times and many people believe they are penned signatures because they are embossed, but if they are all signed in blue, and it is the shot of the entire cast sitting outside southfork, it is likely not hand signed.

My father gave me one piece of advice on selling anything. He said I could have a whole library of books stating an item is worth XXXX.XX. But at the end of the day its only worth what someone is willing to pay you for it. Scott

Ok. It is indeed the whole cast out in front of South Fork (only Miss Ellie is seated) and all signed in blue. I thought it might be real pen because some are fine lined and impress the paper while some look more like felt tips and make no impressions.

Thank you!
