NFL Footballs

How can I tell if the football that is signed is an NFL football.  I see Wilson Official Sized NFL football, I see some with the commissioner sig on it.  I mean which footballs are the REAL NFL balls that are desirable to have sigs on them..

Im sure there are replicas or is that what I am talking about?

You see NFL footballs being sold at Dicks and other sporting good stores but are those the real deal?

Dick's does sell authentic NFL footballs (i.e. the type actually used on the field).  The box will state they're authentic and come in a gold colored box that looks like this.  The ball should also have "The Duke" printed on it:

The price, depending on where you get them, typically runs about $70 - 80, I believe.
