but seriously, as Rich said, EBAY, online auctions, in-person auctions, sports memorabilia conventions, sports memorabilia stores, craigslist, out of your basement, on the streets.

Sorting out what's real and what's not can be complex. But believe it or not, there are actually some very safe avenues for getting authentic autographs in this hobby. I'd say the bulk of what I have doesn't have a COA at all. I have two items with a PSA sticker (which I actually kind of regret), which was a fairly dumb move on my part since I got them in person anyway.
