Odd Sandy Koufax signed baseball - Steiner

Am I the only one that thinks this doesn't look right?

Steiner #'d hologram & COA....but autograph looks fishy (in my opinion). I may be totally wrong, but wanted to hear other opinions.

As a comparison, ,here are a few Sandy Koufax autographs I own on Coleman NL balls (ie they should be similar sigs from the same era) 2nd one down is actually a Steiner ball.

I understand your concern. but Koufax signatures are all over the place now. at this point, I would not buy one like this, I would lean toward a no brainer, like the other ones you posted.

I agree. While a Steiner usually is safe, this one looks like a more recent piece that shows his age and variations from his once standard signature. Given his medical history with arthritis, and the situation, a private signing where he might sign 200 balls in an hour or two, this might be the best you get for a modern signature. There really isn't a shortage of authentic signed Koufax balls out there, you can afford to be choosy for what you spend on him, IMO.

Just look at the changes in the letter "o" over the years in these examples...
