I am not a major collector but I had purchased a few autographs. I have attached 2 that I purchased around 30 years ago(babe) and 15 years ago (George).

Never got them officially authenticated so I am asking your opinions as to do they look like the real things or would I be wasting my money sending them in for authentication?

Thanks
Steve

IMO cut signatures are a slippery slope.  Especially Babe Ruth...it's so much easier to forge on old paper and cut the best ones.  George Reeves, he's been gone for almost 60 years...so it's extremely tough to judge.  When you bought it, he was gone 42 years.  I don't think you'd get any reasonable offers if you didn't find an authenticator or 2 to give these a look.  Good luck!

Any suggestions on authenticators?
