I am considering buying a rare and unique Ovation guitar which is not available anymore.

This guitar has 14 guitarists signed on the reverse including BB King, John Lee Hooker, Buddy Guy, Joe Satriani, George Benson etc

It includes authentication from Ovation on the uniqueness of the guitar and authenticity of the signatures from a leading expert.

Soooo, what's it worth?

You'd probably have to post photos of the guitar here, or no one is going to have any clue at all.

Yes, thanks Rich. I was trying but they are all in a zip file and I couldn't seperate them and it was late here so I gave up.

Going to try to uncompress the files this morning.

Here is a photo of the guitar and the list of who is on it and when the autographs were obtained. Also verification from Lon Stickler.

I couldn't fit all photos in one post.......

I'm personally not too familiar with the signatures I can see (the only one I own is Buddy Guy), and I think other forum members are going to ask for clearer images.

Are you by chance referring to Strickler's Celebrity Autographs? If so, they're pretty bad.

I don't know Rich, I'm trying to upload more photos and the authenticity statement but 2 hours later they still haven't uploaded. I will try one at a time.

If I'm looking at this right, it's from Autograph Pros, which is much more promising.

Just in general - and please note I'm not into signed guitars at all - I have to think that the fact that the back of the guitar was signed affects the value significantly. Signed guitars were meant to be displayed, and most collectors are less interested in displaying the back of a guitar.
