I have a problem with this autograph. I've been an Ozzy Osbourne fan for many years. I own an autograph of his authenticated by Beckett. I've seen so many authentic examples but I have never seen this. Instead of signing Ozzy he did John or maybe someone else did. The seller is presspasscollectibles. This guitar was authenticated by PSA. He has lots of autographs authenticated by PSA but they honestly look like fakes. So guys what do you all think of this and the seller?

Hi Christopher,
I have never seen a John signed ozzy piece either, but im sure their are some. Ozzy is so messy it is often hard for me to decipher whats good or bad. The Osbourne part looks a little off to me, but may be good.
As far as press pass, i have seen a mixed bag of reviews. They use PSA alot, as you know, and i have seen alot of good items from them, but from what members have reported on this forum, its owner has a dubious past when it comes to autographs. I dont know him, so i cant say if its true, but here is the thread where it is discussed. Their is also a link in this thread to another thread that talks of them.

I am a huge fan of PSA and JSA typically, but i do think that their are certain people who give them lots of business, or who are friends with the owners, who get their items certed in ways that are probably not standard policy. I dont think these companies knowingly pass forgeries, like some we discuss on this forum, but i do think that their are certain people who get their items certed without being properly looked over. Is this company one? i dont know. Ive seen alot of good items from them, but their are some i scratch my head over. And the forums are mixed in reviews. But one things for sure, this is an unusual item.

Thanks Carl. I do agree that press pass has a connection with psa. I saw some Led Zeppelin stuff on there and they make me scratch my head. As for Ozzy's signature, I think its a fake.
They have a grip of autographs authenticated by PSA that would have no doubt been declined had I sent them in. No question about it. The stuff they have that I am real familiar with I'm 50/50 on. Some look real good and some look very questionable. He does have an authentic Tillman signature though. Nice one actually.
I do know a couple folks that I trust that know this guy and both have told me to stay far away from him. A quote from one was, "If you want a PSA sticker to display he is your guy, if you want an authentic autograph then look elsewhere".
This is all the same info i have heard. All in all just a mixed bag.
I completely agree with everyone on the PSA issue as well. I normally am a defender, but i do think this seller, and certain others are getting free passes.
I can only hope PSA will correct this problem, b/c if they dont, and it continues with other sellers they soon will fall into the same category as most of the other TPAs. If they are letting this guy slide, then whoever is responsible should be fired in my opinion.
Presspass Collectibles isn't the only one like this. There are a few like this. Some even have the ITP of COA's for "in the street" obviously rushed signatures. And some of these "In the Presence" of PSA COA's are for items that are no good.
