I've had this letter for some time and I have the complete 'translation' filed somewhere but can't find it.

There are a couple of words I can't quite make out.  Let me know what you think P. T. has written.  The content is below with my questions noted accordingly.

"January (?) 1878

Editor of the Record-
Dear Sir
Several parties have written asking me to be present with my "Greatest Show On Earth" on the 14th inst.  As it is some years since I had the pleasure of visiting Great Britain, I will be there with my show and address my patrons from the ring.  You will have seen by your 'exchange' that never before did I or anybody else in any country produce such a marvelous & extensive traveling                     as I give to the public this year.
Truly yours,
P T Barnum
