What do you all think?  This is my first time submitting. I hope I followed the rules ok.  Thanks so much in advance.  My son and I are just getting into collecting together.

I think your ok on both.

Thank you!

Can I ask you a beginner's question R. Tanner?

When people like me ask about an opinion on an autograph, can anyone on here comment?  Could I comment on someone else's question (though I would not since I'm new to the hobby).  I guess what I'm getting at, (and I mean this in a respectful way), how do I know your opinion is valid on the above autographs?  I assume people only comment when they have the expertise (like you).  Would I be correct in that statement?  Thanks so much for helping a newbie out!

Any member can comment and I'm not in anyway claiming to be an expert. I'm a collector like you. I will sometimes give an (opinion) on signatures of celebrities  that I have in my collection and have concentrated on, and feel comfortable offering an opinion. Unless you visualize a celebrity signing an item, authenticity is an opinion. I can say that this forum is great and that I trust the opinions of the members here. Many members do have expertise opinions and I can say that any time I've asked for opinions of authenticity, their opinions have always passed TPA authentication processes such as Becket, PSA, JSA, etc. This is a good site for newbie's on research and identifying the obvious forgeries. I encourage you to read the forums and you will learn a lot towards collecting authentic autographs.
