First things first, great forum, I'm glad I found it. There appears to be a lot of knowledge here. I'm in the middle of documenting my possessions for homeowner insurance reasons. My sister gave me this gift several years ago, very cool, in my opinion. From what I can tell by looking online, the signatures appear to be authentic, but I'd appreciate some feedback from you all as well. They definitely appear to be live signatures. Thoughts on authenticity and value would be appreciated. No C.O.A. was included with the gift. Than you in advance for any feedback.

sorry this isn't genuine
Sorry to say this, but I don't believe any of these signatures are authentic. I know that's disappointing to hear, but better to know before spending money on insurance. Of course, you can always ask Roger Epperson, but I feel pretty confident.
Well crap, that's a bummer. My eye isn't as well trained as you all's, they looked pretty decent compared to what I've seen just browsing the internet...but heck, I'm not even sure if what I see on the internet is real. If you guys are correct, I guess the best thing to come out of this was the fact it was a gift, and not any money out of my pocket.
Yep, definitely a difference. So I'm curious, if you guys wouldn't mind taking a minute to educate me. I know that my own personal signature has changed greatly over a 15-20 year period. How does one ascertain that isn't the case assuming Mikes picture was signed in the time period of 1969 to post 1982 when Coda came out?
You compare the signature styles as they do indeed change over time. Just because signatures are on a particular album does not mean they were signed the year that album came out. Whoever forged your album tried to copy more recent Zeppelin signatures which is why I posted the above album for comparison as the styles match closely. If your album had vintage ball point signatures from the 70s I would have posted a different album for comparison.
Everyone knows the feeling, unfortunately. Most of what's out there is not real, which is why this site and the expertise and experience of so many members is important. If you are looking for an authentic piece, feel free to post pictures here for feedback before you make a purchase.
