Hey, I bought an Elvis Presley signed item which is signed in early 70s. It has also another signature and I cant figure out whose signature it is. If you are able to help Id be very happy and thankful. Thanks!

We Need Pictures buddy or at least a scan.

I gree with You, William :)

Its nice you guys are having fun :) It seems this is a hard task to figure out. Probably it was someone not so famous. I think those only visible letters are both S:s.

I would have that Elvis one looked at it does not seem real

I have a secretarial one  the letterhead is from a theater in NYC no longer there whats there now is the hard rock cafe.

There is no Elvis autograph visible there. Sorry I dont understand.

Sorry my Topic text must have been unclear. I meant that this piece is signed twice . And that pic is only from one of the signatures. Thats the one I cant figure out and asked for help. That signature has nothing to do with Elvis. You are right about that.

I doubt very much that is an attempt at Elvis

Dear Aleksi, what is the other signature on the picture?
I think there are two options:
1.The other signature on the picture is a real Elvis autograph. So I apologize, this is a signature of an unknown Elvis' friend/musician/manager.
2. The other signature is not a real Elvis signature. Well... I think this is a forgery by someone who (maybe) saw a real Elvis autograph just once in his life.. the first letter that looks a capital "S" could be a bad copy of Elvis "E" which is like a inverted "3".. and the last letter of the first name is a s (like Elvis).. the surname look a very poor copy of "Presley"..
For just one minute try to read this signature thinking that what is written is "Elvis Presley" (maybe like a kid can write it).. can you see that is similar?

Yes ok it has maybe some similarities. Here is what it looks like: http://postimg.org/image/47gqc9m0f/ http://postimg.org/image/qv2vxbhhn/

Its signed early 70s in Vegas. Also checked out by Roger.

Thank you, now I think we have more info to think about this strange signature..

Thanks. Comedian Shecky Greene has quite similar S in his name, but I dont think anything else matches to his handwriting.
