Hello everybody!!

I absolutly love when members here at AML post examples of beautiful autographs that they have in their collection. So I thought I should start a thread where everyone who wants, can post a photo of their favorite autograph and maybe write some info about why you especially like this one!

Hopefully some members will chip in!! :-)

Ok, I´ll start:

My favorite autograph is a 10x8 photo signed by Bruce Springsteen and Little Steven, Max Weinberg, Roy Bittan, Clarence Clemons & Gary Tallent from The E Street Band:

I wanted this so bad when I first saw it, because I´m a huge fan of Springsteen. But unfortunally me economy usually sucks, so it took me a long time to save up enough money to buy it. And every day that went by, I were worried that someone else would buy it before me. So when I finally bought it, I were extremely happy!!! :-)

Someone else??

PS. Sorry if this has been done recently, but I can´t remember seeing a simular thread. I know that there is a thread about the rarest autograph, but that´s not the same thing... :-)

I'm not sure I have an absolute favorite one, but this is among some of my favorites. This was the first Monkees concert I ever attended. Also, the first time I'd ever thought about, much less attempt to get backstage after the show. I purchased the photo before showtime at the venue (Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, FL) and got all three of them to sign it when I was able to get backstage after the show. Wow! This was January 1997.

This is another favorite of mine, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York. I lived in Clearwater, FL at the time and one of our local malls had recently been purchased by the British firm, Westfield Shopping Centres. Sarah made an appearance to promote not only Westfield Shopping Centres but also her charity. I was at the mall to see her arrive by helicopter accompanied by the SWAT. As she was making her way to the mall entrance, shaking hands and perhaps signing a few autographs, I took some photos of her as she approached my area and was also able to shake her hand. Inside, she had these postcards that she was signing and I was able to obtain one. After she departed, I went to show my parents and my dad seemed really impressed that his daughter was able to meet a member (former) of the Royal family.

Nice one Julie! My girlfriend loves autos from the british royalties! She would love to have one from the late Lady Diana, but that´s not easy to buy with a limited budget...

Yes, Don. Wouldn't we all like to have an autograph from Princess Diana. I'd like to have one from both of her sons, too.  :)

This is my current favorite.  Jamie Foxx was nice enough to sign this DJANGO UNCHAINED one-sheet for me a few months ago.  The inscription was his idea.

Joseph, love that sig and inscription!

One of the hardest things to do is pick the best piece in the collection but it is by far but no question I have to say this is it for certain...a 16x20 signed by Joe Dimaggio and Mickey Mantle inscribed 1951...just one of my faves...

Awesome piece CG!

fantastic...hate to give away my age, BUT way back I was at Yankee Stadium one day and watched Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris hit back to back homers off opposite foul poles. Great piece

I can relate Kevin!  Those were also the days of me or neighborhood kids putting their rookie cards in the spokes of our bike wheels , not knowing how rare those cards would be.

amazing

This has been a fantastic thread! I have really enjoyed seeing all these great pieces. Keep 'em coming!
