Hello everybody!!

I absolutly love when members here at AML post examples of beautiful autographs that they have in their collection. So I thought I should start a thread where everyone who wants, can post a photo of their favorite autograph and maybe write some info about why you especially like this one!

Hopefully some members will chip in!! :-)

Ok, I´ll start:

My favorite autograph is a 10x8 photo signed by Bruce Springsteen and Little Steven, Max Weinberg, Roy Bittan, Clarence Clemons & Gary Tallent from The E Street Band:

I wanted this so bad when I first saw it, because I´m a huge fan of Springsteen. But unfortunally me economy usually sucks, so it took me a long time to save up enough money to buy it. And every day that went by, I were worried that someone else would buy it before me. So when I finally bought it, I were extremely happy!!! :-)

Someone else??

PS. Sorry if this has been done recently, but I can´t remember seeing a simular thread. I know that there is a thread about the rarest autograph, but that´s not the same thing... :-)

Ok. Let me add to this thread.  I'm a huge U2 fan.  Currently, I've seen 31 shows and I've met Bono a few times.  Here are my favourite autographs.

This is the book that came with the deluxe version of the album No Line On the Horizon.  My license plate says U2BROTHR (I'm usually the guy 'of colour' who is in the front row).  I like this as this one is personalized and contains my name.

After seeing my license plate at the shows, I met in him Toronto, and luckily at the last moment, I remembered my car was parked out front.  At Bono's suggestion, we snapped a pic on my car.  I blew up the picture and flew to Winnipeg on my birthday to see the band.  Prior to the show, I presented (and reminded) him of the picture.  He signed it!

May 29th is my birthday.  Front row at the show.  Pure bliss.  I manage to ask Bono's tech for his floor setlist.  This is the running order of the songs that is taped to the floor in front of Bono.  I fly home with with this treat only to see Bono again in 2011 at the Toronto Film Festival.  I present him with his very own setlist and both Bono and the Edge sign it.  He drew a birthday cake with the number 39 to personalize it.

These are definitely my faves...

^ That's why I didn't bother posting my U2 autos :P

Awesome stuff.

Mark, those are SICK!!! Thank you for showing them to us!!

Mark, so very cool and what a wonderful story!  I'll have to dig up some of my U2 concert photos I have taken and show you.

Mark, those stories and autographs are amazing!! Absolutely PRICELESS!! Hats off for you and many thanks for sharing!

All 3 are super nice. I like that top one especially.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone.  When I organize some pictures... I'll show my favourite baseball autographs...

that is truly unreal

awesome

From one Mark to another, fantastic autographs. I would love to meet Bono and U2. Thanks for sharing these with us!

One of my favorite groups ever.  this is the insert from Rumours, signed by all five.

This is a cool thread to look through.  Here is my favorite.  It is a AC/DC guitar signed by the entire band:  Angus Young, Malcolm Young, Brian Johnson, Cliff Williams and Phil Rudd.  This guitar was given to Michael Klenfner by AC/DC as a gift.  Klenfner was a music excecutive from Atlantic records and considered a legend in the business.  Angus, Malcolm, Cliff and Phil all personalized their sigs and Angus drew one of the best devil sketches I have seen.  Klenfner passed away in 2009.  His family auctioned many items earlier this year and I was able to purchase this from the person who won the auction.  It is a great piece and I feel lucky to have it.  Pictures do not do it justice.  The color on this guitar is stunning and the autographs really pop.

Love it!!
