While sorting out my overlarge book collection for some books to get rid off I was adding some old James Bond paperbacks to the pile (I now have all the books in the Penguin collection box), when I noticed the signature in the front of one of them.
I could be very much mistaken, but it looks to me like a very hastily scribbled Ian Fleming autograph.
The picture has an authenticated Fleming autograph on top, mine below.
It's a 1964 second printing of the Pan edition of On her majesty's secret service. Of course I know that Fleming died in August 1964, I haven't been able to find out in which month of 1964 this edition was published.
Any thoughts?
