Prince 8 by 10 Forgery Being Offered On Ebay....... But check out the item description!!

Hello everyone,

While looking around on ebay for Prince autographs i found an obvious forgery coming from seller changenow7.

In any event, the autograph is an obvious forgery and the seller knows this. It comes with a COA from Autograph Central and Bryan Slaven. Those words send shivers down the spine of autograph collectors. So with so many fakes regarding Prince, nothing is surprising until you read the description. The seller all but tells you its fake but still is encouraging you to bid. The gaw of it all is pretty crazy. Have a read at the description. And this doesnt even take into account the easily researchable fact that Prince hasnt signed at anytime this decade.

Very nice Signed and Framed 8 x 10 Photo of Prince, "The Artist Formerly Known as Prince." The frame is 17 1/2" high by 15 1/2" wide and is dark brown wood. There is a Certificate of Authenticity with this. When researching the COA the signer (see photo 3) is being investigated for "Fakes." There is a lawsuit against him and some negative blog posts. So, please, this could be an original autograph and it also may NOT be an original signature by Prince. The picture is preowned and in very good condition. Great for a Prince fan! There is a small scratch on three of the corners (see photos 4,5,6) and a 1 1/2" tear on the backing (see photos 8 & 9.) Some details: Check out my other items!

I dont have any reason to believe this seller is a regular selling of bad autographs, but i most certainly believe that the seller ealizes this item is completely bogus. If he did the research to know this items distributor sells forgeries, then he obviously can put two and two together. Anyway thought you would get a kick out of the item description.

Yes, that cute disclaimer and the low price indicates that he knows it's bogus. I certainly wouldn't risk a red mark against an otherwise fairly active selling account for a measly $50. Now the race is on between ebay removing it and a moron bidder coming along and buying it.
