Prince Edward VIII - Is this a real signature?

Photos are usually signed with a fountain pen. This one looks like a thin feltpen. The photo looks a bit strange. Does not look like an old photo. There is no date with the signature. I wouldn't buy this without seeing it in the flesh. Who is selling it?
