Psa authenticated printed autograph! eBay seller sportsmania

eBay seller sportsmania is selling a printed muhammad Ali autograph as authentic.

It comes with a psa letter!
This is an ad for cologne Ali had out and it is pretty well known that the ads all had pre-printed autographs. Ali would inscribe around the printed auto (normally the persons name and date). If you go to aliautos.net and look under forgeries you'll see it documented there. Or if you google muhammad Ali cologne they should pop up

How did PSA miss this?!
Not only did they clearly get it wrong but the also note the date as saying "81"....the cologne wasn't released until 84 and if you look at it it actually says "87"

PSA really screwed up here

The seller sportsmania has been notified and doesn't care since it has psa authentication

I think Ebay relys heavily on the TPA which is why so many bad items with Steiner certs seem to be out there

How about this bullcrap response from PSA
Bet they didn't even open the link.

"Thank you for your email. I do apologize for the delayed response. I forwarded your concerns to upper management and I was informed that this piece was thoroughly examined by our experts and has been determined to be authentic. If you have any concerns about the authenticity of this item you are more than welcome to send it in so that it may be reviewed further"

I have received e-mails from PSA/DNA essentially saying "If you don't like it, don't buy it. We don't have to agree." in regards to obvious forgeries they certed that I pointed out to them. Laughable.

Very sad.
If they simply manned up to their mistakes their reputation would be far better
The fact is is they don't care at all.

I did read somewhere a whole ago that james spence made good on a "money back guarantee". Apparently it was only after online pressure mounted, but he still did it lol
