Questionable Babe Ruth Single-Signed Baseball on eBay

Ok - My first post here, and I hope to get some decent input. I assume that this is ball is one of Coach's Corner handy-work, but I wanted your opinion:

The markings on the ball have it dated to 1948 - so this would have needed to be signed in the last 8 months of his life. There are a lot of red flags on this one, but I wanted to get some opinions of members of this forum.

I emailed this clown yesterday asking to see a picture of the Mears COA he says comes with the game used LeBron James high school uniform. He says it flew out the window of his car while he was driving during a windstorm.

Problem with MEARS is they will issue a COA on an item even if it's just a player model type. A5 is basically saying it could've been made for the player. That's what a lot of these Lebron high jerseys are, but people sell them as game used. Also another reason why his HS stuff sells low. So much crap out there.
