This is highly questionable IMO. I'm not a Jeter "expert" but have seen my fair share. Curious as to other's thoughts on this?

Is this just a superrrrrrrr rushed example?

I've tried making this point as well but it seems like people don't want to admit JSA has screwed up.

I think its probably rushed.

It certainly appears to be signed quickly/swiftly, but even from the first D it looks off. (and reminiscent of the GAI/GA fakes...)

its really hard to tell. most of the GA fakes had the owl eyes at the end,. this one is all over the place, which leads me to believe it is probably one of his in person "i dont care" signatures.

Rushed, but authentic IMO.

Take the rest of the signature out of the picture and look at the "D's", they are ALWAYS the same on the bad signatures. Look at a Steiner Jeter or one authenticated by PSA/DNA and compare the "D'S".

funny thing, I just did that.  and the D's don't bother me as much as the rest of the signature. when you look at a bunch of authentic Steiner Jeters, then look back at this one, it really makes this one look bad.

Steiner items are all signed sitting down in an office, rushed Jeter items can be all over the place, the key is to look at the D and the first loop he makes. The way this is signed, quickly, upside down and on the side panel are all in line with what he would do signing balls in a rushed fashion around the stadium. Just my two cents, but that is probably what JSA saw in it too.

Mike T has some good points..if it was a forgery, i would think they'd take their time and sign on the sweet spot.   though, they aren't the brightest people in the world ;)
