OBTAINED THIS AUTOGRAPH A WHILE AGO AND NOT SURE OF ITS AUTHENTICITY.  I HAVE A COA FROM SPORTING SIGNATURES IN CRYSTAL LAKE ILLINOIS BUT I CANNOT FIND THE SHOP ONLINE EITHER.  ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREAT!

The lady I purchased from previously lived in chicago(1990-2000) and told me her son-in-law took photographs for some card company back in the 90's and this was one of his photos he took (that I do not believe was published)  She is a wealthy woman who has an amazing art collection.  I guess I was sold more on the photo by who was selling it to me ASSUMING it was going to be authentic from her.  I just want thoughts from any of yal to see your opinions.

Doesnt look authentic.

I trust your opinion....I am very uneducated in Michael Jordan autographs and know they are more forged than real out there probably.  This is a 1996 autograph and have done some camparisons and see some good things but some things that caution me as well.  What are your concerns with it.

Perhaps I'm mistaken, but by 1996, wasn't UDA the basically rule for Jordan autographs?  I think anything with a COA from a little shop in Crystal Lake probably stands very little chance of being authentic.

Ive gotten Jordan over 100 times since 1996 and not once did I go thru UDA.

It is a good idea to buy from them if you want to be certain it is 100% authentic. But they are very pricey . Over $1200 now .

Would JSA be a good place to send my photo? If I do just want to find out for 100% sure?

Yes . Jsa is good . Or psa. Global is good as well. Steve Sipe worked for UDA  with Jordan .

Thank you very much and everyone else for all your help....Yal have been very helpful!

Wow . . . how?  I was never a big fan and hence never that interested, but I was under the impression that it was UDA or bust - i.e. he was generally inaccessible outside of his signings for Upper Deck.

He signs at every golf tournament he goes to . He signed as a player at the arena and sometimes at the bus. Jordan use to sign at his flight camp up here in Santa Barbara . He hasnt done it there for awhile . But he signs alot at golf tourneys.

Do you think this photo is clearly fake enough to the point it would be a waste of money to submit to JSA.  I mean I don't want to dump anymore money into something than I need to, especially if its fake.  Any opinion on that?

I personally woould not waste my money . If the lady got it from her son . Why would she have a coa with it . When I buy stuff from people who get it passed on from a person close to the celebrity . They more than likely have no clue what a coa is .
