has anyone else noticed the eBay trend of sellers listing 'replica' or 'reproduction' autographs - specifically Babe Ruth?  the shortest distance betweeen point a and point b is not a straight line but a crooked one. there are approx 6 on their site now for sale and 16 that already sold or closed. how many of them do you think will end up on Craigslist or another site for sale as legitimate?  do you think eBay should ban them?

I'd say the vast majority of "reprint" autographs I notice on ebay are reprints of truly terrible forgeries.  At least they're cheap, I guess.  But many of the would be incredibly embarrassing to put on display.
