Found this in a storage unit. looks like a terrible fake. both appear to be the same hand writing. but upon looking at numerous archie moore and roberto duran autographs it seems like there is a small possibility it could be them because of the style of signature.

It seems like a weird forgery for me because i'm unsure if they have ever been to the same event at the same time. and they never fought eachother.

Roberto Durans signature has the correct looking R, and the B kinda curls. the duran name is different in all of his signatures. i don't know. I think its a terrible forgery where the person was looking at his signature when they forged it.

and next is archie moore. his r and c are not connected like on the signature. and his signature style varies so much. but the last photo looks like it could potentially be the same style.

Anyways to me it looks like a terrible forgery done by a child. but because its a weird combination of signatures, and there are some consistencies in their signature. Im thinking theres a chance of it being real.

What does the group seem to think? and should i try to craigslist/ebay it?

lol i'm shocked any athlete would have such a slow signature. wouldn't they have a faster signature based on signing so many damn autographs? I mean i've seen people with slow signatures, but thats because they never write or sign anything. but i'd imagine they'd sign a crapload of things.

I'm so lost on these. I kind of think they are authentic because:

Its weird you'd forge them 2 together considering they never fought eachother, and don't live in the same area. and the B in Roberto and the R is pretty convincing.

but at the same time I think they are fake because they just look way too slow and sloppy. but i guess thats there style

They look authentic . Go to fightoys.com and see if they can help you out .

I collect boxing autographs. I've gotten Archie many times (he lived in my hometown of San Diego). This looks enough like his autograph.

I also agree with what others said. If somebody is going to forge TWO BOXERS on a glove, they'll go with fighters that fought each other. Duran with a Sugar Ray. Sugar Ray with Haglar.  Archie Moore with...well, one of the 100 people he fought over the years!

So yeah...I lean more towards this being the real deal.
