So I’ve looked thru the RR auctions’ signature study on Ronald Reagan, and this doesn’t look like the typical secretarial signature to me. Could it possibly be authentic? Thanks!

Thanks for your reply. Would you happen to have an example of a Reagan similar to this? Which part of his career do you think it’s from? What’s throwing me off is I’ve never seen him go through with a loop through his letter ‘a’, as in the ‘a’ from Ronald and the second ‘a’ from Reagan, they’re always up and over like the first ‘a’ in Reagan, as in this example...

that is his signature. whether or not it is hand-signed, I cannot tell from the photo.

Thanks for the great examples! It’s exactly what I was looking for! He didn’t cut through his ‘a’s all that often, but it would appear that he did on occasion. And I believe it to be hand signed due to the faintness of the pen in spots...a printed signature would probably be bold throughout?
