Rookie Met Noah Syndergaard Costs $75 In Person, But Lots of Fans

Just back from Noah Syndergaard's 1st autograph appearance for my Forbes column.

I'm constantly amazed how the latest hot star can eclipse Hall of Famers like Cal Ripken, Eddie Murray, and Brooks Robinson.

It's the same morons who pay 10k for a Kris Bryant Bowman Chrome refractor autograph when they could've bought a Babe Ruth ball for that price. Insane.

I suppose if Syndergaard flames out; it's a big gamble betting on current players. The cheapest Babe Ruth at the show (JSA) was about $5K with an inscription on an unofficial ball.
