Hopefully his prognosis is good and he can make a good recovery one of my Fav Dback Pitchers

Wonder what kind? If they caught it early enough he should be fine. Way too young!

Hate to be the gorilla in the room, but hasn't steroid use been linked to cancer? Also, strangely enough, his wife is a cancer survivor, so there's a possibility that it's the type of materials/plastics being used in their household.

Could just be a natural coincidence.

Hope he beats it. Schilling was one of my favorites to. Spoke his mind and never sugar coated anything.

+1 Rick.  He was a great pitcher too.  Loved watching him a Johnson in the World Series.  Hope he beats it too.

His life after baseball has been riddled with unluckiness.

As a Yankee fan couldnt stand the guy (he always beat us). But sad to hear this news...real smart baseball guy, enjoy listening to him on ESPN. Hope it turns out alright

SO TERRIBLE...HEARD ABOUT THIS THIS MORNING
