I was at a Tri-sport production collectors show in the early 90's and had Muhammad Ali sign boxing gloves and a poster. This was authenicated by Scoreboard Inc. and witnessed by Paul Golden  and of course myself. If I was to sell one or both of these items should I have them authenicated by someone else, I hate to spend a couple of hundred bucks when I witnessed the sigs myself. These are great Sigs before his signiture got really bad.

I think if you have the Scoreboard COA you'll be Ok. (Even though the Scoreboard COA has been copied/re-printed a ton...)

I personally wouldn't waste the $150 it's going to cost sending it to PSA. How much are you looking to get for the items?

Not really sure yet.  Just started looking around at what they might be worth.  I could upload pictures of both items if you are really interested.

the problem with Scoreboard is that there are so many copied/forged Scoreboard certs out there, that no one trusts them anymore, which is really unfair to the original concept.  You may have to spend the extra money, unfortunately, if you want to get a good price for the item. It really sucks that the hobby has come to this when you actually witnessed the signing.

Thats what I figured, thanks

Scoreboard has had lots of bad certs floating around over the years...but a true collector will know for certain if its legit or not...I always take pictures when getting IP autos...but getting it certified again wont hurt although it will boost the value of the item for the future...
