Seeking help identifying 1940s actress/singer

Hi, I am hoping for assistance in identifying this vintage actress or possibly opera singer.  Photo is dated 1942.  I am always amazed at the knowledge of the members on this site.  Thank you for your time.

That's German soprano Lotte Lehmann.
